Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (deemed University) was founded by Pandit Janardan Rai Nagar in 1937 with the aim of raising the common man intimidated in the feudal state of Mewar in Rajasthan. Originally established as an education center the night of the primary courses, secondary and higher education in Hindi, the national language of the country and was named the hindi Vidhyapeeth. After the merger of the state of Rajasthan, it added new dimensions and Hindi Vidhyapeeth became a prominent nongovernmental organization and was therefore renamed as Rajasthan Vidyapeeth.
