The university and the town of Vallabh Vidyanagar in extending the campus, have not been created by executive order of the state or have been created by one or a few rich. In fact, this land of Learning and Place of Higher Education - University - has been created by a single cooperative contribution of a large number of farmers in this rural area, which were inspired and enthused by the dedication and view of the sacrifices of Sardar Patel, Shri Shri Bhaikaka and Bhikhabhai.
